BEHIND THE SONG
The burdens we carry. The God who carries us.
Carry the Weight begins with the responsibility of caring for others. A husband carries burdens for his wife; a father carries them for his children. Then the perspective changes. The one who has been holding everyone else discovers that Christ is holding him. The song points toward a strength beyond our own and a love that does not ask us to bear every burden alone.
